  • Mystic Vale

    Mystic Vale is a forested ravine that was acquired by the University of Victoria in 1993. It is a Douglas Fir Ecosystem located on the Hobbs Creek watershed that is protected from development in perpetuity. It is home to more than 75 native plant and wildlife species, including Douglas firs, Indian plum, Snowberries and the sword ferns that cover the slopes into the gully, as well as five species of woodpeckers. 

  • Halftime

    Halftime is located in the lobby of UVic's CARSA. It is a popular food spot on campus. It features a smoothie bar, made to order salads, made to order sandwiches and wraps, daily soup, and beverages. There are not many seating options but it is great to grab something quick to eat. 

  • Grad House

    The Grad House Restaurant is a great place to eat and relax at UVic. It is open to students and to the broader community. The menu is reasonably priced, with options to make some meals vegan or gluten free. 

  • Cadboro Commons

    Cadboro Commons serves residence students and is a popular location to eat with many other UVic students. The building includes the main dining room, the Village Greens Vegetarian/Vegan restaurant, and Cap's bistro. Each place has daily specials and many tables for students to hang out and enjoy their lunch while studying or visiting with friends. 

  • Mac's

    Mac's is a popular place where students eat at UVic. It offers made to order sandwiches, wraps and salads, daily soups, and a wide selection of beverages. The made to order sandwich bar and salad station closes 1 hour before closing time. There is also a seating area for students to eat their meal. 

     

  • Mystic Market

    Mystic Market is a popular place where students go to eat on campus. There is a diverse range of food for purchase options. There are many tables and places to sit and enjoy a meal, or to eat with friends. It is located in the University Centre.
