  • Law Library

    The Law library is a space that is open to all students and the general public, although some of services are reserved for UVic law students. More information is available at their website. Keep in mind that you are in a library environment and so be mindful of your actions noise levels and keep an eye out for signage that highlights other protocols. 

  • First People's House

    The First Peoples House is a place that is open to all but has protocols in place. Be mindful that you are respecting the self identified indigenous students for whom the space is for and the ancestors. Be mindful of your noise level and your actions. Visit the website for more details on how to respect the space while you are there. 

  • CARSA

    CARSA is the new campus gym however some students feel unwelcome since you have to pay an extra membership fee or a drop in fee to use the facilities. If you are looking for a workout option that is included within your tuition the Mckinnon Gym located in the basement of the Mckinnon building is the place to go. If you want to explore CARSA keep in mind there are some protocols, around dress code.

  • Student Clubs

    Student Clubs are one of the best ways to meet new people and the hangout with your friends at UVic. There are over 200 clubs registered with the UVSS (University of Victoria Student Society) and there is sure to be one for you! At the beginning of the fall and winter term there is an event called club days where you can meet all the different clubs and choose which suits you.
